Saving Sessions power down 8–9pm at Octopus Energy

Join Saving Sessions now at Octopus Energy and take part in a Power Down session from 8–9pm.

When you use less electricity during two weekday Saving Sessions you earn a Weekend Happy Hour — one hour of free power at the weekend. You also get Octopoints for every kWh you save during sessions; points appear in your Octoplus account and can be exchanged for credit.

• Two session types: Power Down (use less) and Power Up (use more) depending on grid needs.
• Accept the session invite via email, then follow the guidance — shift laundry, delay the dishwasher and avoid non-essential appliance use during the hour.
• Check your progress and schedule any earned free power from the Octoplus dashboard.
• Weekend Happy Hours promotion runs until 1 November 2026.
